hey 13 and i live in texas and me and my friends play and he has a 400 fps aeg and i dont get hurt
so if they think if ur under 16 you will get hurt they r wrong because he unloaded a full 68 rd clip on me and it did not hurt
i think the hole you have to be 16 to play at a field is really stupid |

| Your right about you not getting hurt, but other dumb-a s s kids who shoot people in the face and take there masks off and are anoying brats are why the rules exist. I feel the same way because even though im 16, I have to wear a huge, clunky paintball mask when I play, and I have more experience then a lot of these older guys. The only thing you can do is a) approach the field owner/manager(do so at your own risk) b)start your own club with friends or c) COWBOY THE ____ UP (Bruce Willis). J/K about the last one, but basically your gonna have to wait it ou like the rest of us. |

| It all mattes how close you were to him. Heck if its really a 400fps gun, stand under 10 from him and tell me if it doesn't hurt. Also fell free to upgrade that to a 300rnd mag. It hurts dont act like it doesn't. And it rule isn't set by ow they cant take it, its from what is said above, and people really dont want to baby sit kids out there. And/or want this to turn into paint ball with 10 year olds running around every where every day. Also there is a Huge insurance policy with this. So for now, either play with us D.A.R.T, or wait till ya 16!:D |

You sound like a very smart person, letting your friend shoot you 68 times. Rules are rules, not much you can do about them. There are fields with no age limits, you just can't play in OP's.

| I think someone on these boards said that photo was "doctored". In fact, they messed with the pic to remove the "blisters". That is not to say that I haven't had blisters like that on my forearms (the only skin exposed when I play). |

i play with spring pistols in my back yard and they go like 150 fps and in some spots they hurt like love handles, foreheads, fingers, and on top of the head |

Even though this thread is over a year old, it's still worth answering your question. Imation6, if you are under the age of sixteen, you are to young to attend the SpecOps hosted events in Texas. They have a 16 y/o age requirement. There are other organizations that host Ops that have the same age restrictions. That is usually due to insurance. Most insurance carriers make field owners have anyone under the age of 18 wear a full face mask as well. All other players have to have full seal. They also follow TASO rules as well at most large Ops. **Taso plug** www.texasairsoft.org
As far as games out at DFWAP, Chris will let people who are over the age of 12 play without a parent present, but they must have another player or group vouch for them. Some groups, like Dart, Trap, and Forney, usually let younger players play with them. The web sites for the different groups are as follows:
