for a newcomer, always, ALWAYS go with tokyo marui
classic army's internals are crap
and also, for a beginner, i would suggest the TM AK series or AUG, since they are the sturdiest |

Do you have a Classic Army gun? Mine works beautifully so far - and I bought it used.
Any TM gun would be fine - I have a few, and none of them are easily breakable, with the exception of the foregrip on the AUG. |

yea, it's the same gun.
i would also prefer Evike, just because they're near by, they have great customer service (at the store), and pretty good prices for what you get.
i wouldn't get a CA as my first AEG. i have no doubt that their internals are good, but some people say that you should replace the hop-up bucking as soon as you get it, or something like that.
and yes, you can edit your posts. the icon looks like , but you have to be logged on to edit. |

I would definitely recommend a TM as a first gun - nothing to mess with, and reliable straight out of the box.
As a second or third, though, feel free to experiment. |

| I think that going with a Tokyo Marui is a great idea. Good choice. But, never buy guns on ebay. |

| hmm the link you have for the TM has the trades removed, that's a pain because it looks really ugly. but definately get the TM, with all the necessary gear (charger/discharder, battery, bb's, etc) that way you can start shooting sooner. |

What do you mean with the trades removed?
And do you have a link or pic of one with the "trades" not removed |

Marui owns rights to trademarks in Japan, but in the US, they don't (Colt especially is picky about how their trademarks are used because of the HKM4)
I would say a used Marui is a great deal (I've had 5), but eBay is only if you 1) Have experience or 2) Can fix it if it's a pile. I wouldn't if I were you. |
