WHAT WE NEED :
2 more snipers
1 more spotter
as of now we have 1 sniper, and 2 spotters. We had 6 members, but 3 were shipped off into the military not long ago. so we need 3 more players to take there place.
so total, We need a squad of 3 snipers, and 3 spotters, so we can split up as three 2 man teams to cover more area on the field.
LOCATION :
We are based around central New York in the finger lake region, we are just south of rochester.
ABOUT US :
We play with 75+ players every month at 24 hour games. (rain or shine.)
Are squad is based off of Marine Recon forces, and we do alot of stalking and reconnaissance. We strive for MILSIM, and stick together on the field.
Our job on the field could range from providing information on enemy armor or locations, to eliminating the opposing teams general or commanding officer. We are often given specific duties as a squad and given 24 hours to complete them.
We also hold training events as a squad to practice stalking and target shooting for the snipers and spotters.
SNIPERS ROLE :
Our snipers are mainly used for the long range shots that the spotter can not take. We recommend snipers to have guns shooting around 400-500 FPS.
SPOTTERS ROLE :
the spotter is used to take the shots that are too close for the sniper to engage becuase of danger with FPS and range limits. Are spotters usually carry M4's.
SQUAD REQUIREMENTS :
1. you must be at least 17 years of age to be on our squad.
2. A ghillie suit is REQUIRED to be on our squad. (I can help you get the materials to make a homemade one if your SERIOUS about joining.)
3. We do not accept any paintsoftes, we only recruit dedicated milsim players.
4. We only accept TEAM PLAYERS. We do not accept the "hero" type persona.

| I'm confused. It makes sense to have 2-man (or even 1-man) squads, but then you say that you "stick together" on the field. How does that work? |

If we are doing a mission were it requires sniping. We take our squad, and then split up into 2 man teams. Usually whoever you like being with or whoever you work best with.
But... if the game were playing doesnt really have any need for snipeing whatsoever. (which is rare) we stick together as an 8 man squad and usually use AEGS and so on. Kind of more a special forces role.
It basically depends on what the team feels like doing at the time.
We might seem a little strict and serious becuase of my first post. But were not, we love to kick back and have some fun too. But we are strict about who we pick to join the team. We dont want players that just goof off all the time. just some of the time.

we dont exactly have an exact TEAM name. we are completely starting the team over. Our old team name was Executive outcomes. But we were a Squad.... within the team. So our squad name is jsut marine recon i guess you could call it.
But if your inturested in joining the team, everyone will a say... and we can all make a vote on a team name and so on. Or we could just keep it simple and call it marine recon. LOL w/e floats your boat.
O yea, this is some of the gear i wear. Just incase you guys were inturested to see what one of your team members would look like if you joined.

| nah sry. Im w/ team Omega out of albany already. We are kinda the marine corps of it. I was just wondering. Wanting to learn of some new team in the upper part of Ny. |

| um... our albany branch does pretty frequently. We're good buds. My unit is down in New paltz. Chuckie is the team leader. He's on the scheduled stuff. HE doenst post in this jibber-jabber. Just his events. WE are the marine branch. ITs fun. I havent been up to the albany feild. WE just merged together a couple weeks ago so we are working some things out. |
