I have found several people via forums to play in Staten Island.
We have been skirmishing for a month now, and we would like to seek out more NYC players.
Our field is in "Arden Woods" in Staten Island.
on Bus, from South Ferry, you can take the S74 to "Tottenville" or S54 to "Tottenville". Just tell the bus driver you would like to get off at Arden Woods on Arden Ave. and Arthur Kill Road.
Here's a Google Earth image. The yellow dot is basically the entrance.

| ummm..not to burst your bubble....but airsoft is illegal within the 5 boroughs of NYC(unless Staten Island has seceded ).....and given the "nature" of the nypd to use exorbitant amounts of ammunition on people reaching for their wallet....I highly suggest using paintball guns instead..... |

Wait, Staten Island is part of NYC?! Next you'll tell me NYC isn't just Manhattan.  Mrezzy, it would be a good idea to consult with local law enforcement before having skirmishes on public property. Same thing goes for paintball as well. It's better to take precautions and work with them. If they say no, it's still better than having your guns confiscated or worse. |

| AIRSOFT IS ONLY ILLEGAL IN THE FIVE BOROUGHS OF NYC!!! Sorry for all caps but I'm sotired of always hearing that airsoft is illegal in the whole state of NY. |

yea, airsoft AND paintball is ILLEGAL in NYC 5 boroughs, but the ironic thing is that there are PAINTBALL FEILDS IN NYC. One in Queens, One in Brooklyn, and One in Staten island, about 10 minutes from the field my team plays at.
Yes, it is illegal, but it's hard not playing :). We do make a 10 minute walk into the woods before we unload our gear. We don't ever walk out of the woods in BDUs.
Besides all that, it's a very very quiet and isolated field we play in [ and a very nice one too ]
Heck, there is an abandoned Hospital in Staten Island named "SeaView Hospital", a Creepy ass haunted place too, i might add. All Paintballs from Staten Island [part of NYC] goes there to play. The NYPD is RIGHT next to the building. They are very lax about paintballers playing there. But I'm not too sure about airsofters.
