Hello,
I know that AAA recharable batteries output a smaller amount of voltage than normal AAA. Is is possible to put recharable AAA (or maybe a Ni-Cd or Ni-Mh) batteries in the EBB without degrading performance?
Because I really don't want to have to buy 4 AAA batteries everytime I run my EBB batteries dry.
Regards, Josh |

| It's possible. I know, the boys series sometimes only works with certain types of batteries. If anything with lower voltage, the ROF will be slower/ the slide will cycle slower. |

| The TM G18c won't function with all rechargables, but 2 rechargables and 2 alkalines should work. My cheapie M9 beretta could use all rechargables though. |

| You have to bend the elctrodes at the bottom of the frame. Ive done it, and posted a picture. It should be on the second or third page. Rechargeables are slightly smaller than regular batteries, and they dont touch the ends good enough for a connection on ebb's. |

Rule 1 of useing things with battries. DONT MIX ALKLINE AND RECHAGABLE!!! Dont even mix NICD with NIMH
problem is voltage. alklines are 1.5 volts each so 4 you got 6 volts. Rechargables are 1.2 volts. so 4 would be 4.8 volts. Theres some that are 1.25 volts so 4 will give you 5 volts or you could go with 3.4 volt lithum ion cells 2 will be 6.8 volts a much higher mha. I would go Lithum Ion they sell cells the size of AA or AAA then just wire it up for 2 cells get a charger and your on your way. then gun should be ok with a extra .8 volts but DONT MIX CELLS!!! |

| I've seen 3.6V Li-Ion Cells, but I can't find 3.4V. |

Uberwoot, it's an EBB not an AEG. It shoots 100 fps. Batteries aren't the first thing you should be worried about.
And the lithium cells and charger will probably cost more than the gun. It's not going to be worth it. might as well save up for an AEP. |
