What the hell do you mean? I'm assuming you don't even own a plane, because you have NO idea what your talking about. I own an electric C-17 park flyer and the thing can carry a hell of a lot of payload. How do you think they can carry servos and receivers and pushrods? I even have a friend who puts a 10z camera in his 52" winspan electric plane with a brushless motor. Ever heard of gas planes? I ALSO own a 46% TOC biplane with a DA-150 engine. You know how much payload the thing can carry? At LEAST 3-4 pounds. MOST (if not all) gas planes can carry a lot of payload. |

| Did you read his post? He didn't say that the plane cant carry anything, he said it would be difficult to use in the field. Unless the airsoft field is a large plain, it would be difficult for you(the pilot) to keep a line of sight to the aircraft. Of course, people may also fire at the plane itself. |

There is a japanese knee mortar . But to get a squad of those would be expensive . I would stick to the good old grenade .
I suppose the mortar could be made into a bazooka . |

Tarhak and AirForceOne did not completely read my post. Tarhak: Yes you are correct, but keep in mind that in most woodland areas it will be hard to throw a football long distances without hitting an obstacle, therefore some limitations must be made on its killing power.
AirForceOne: No where in my post did I claim that RC planes have a small payload (thank you Pig). Re-read the post. In regards to its weight, ok, point taken, BUT, how are you going to launch the thing in a wooded area? You wouldn't be able to launch it outside of the woods... guide it in, eyes to the sky and not on the field, drop its payload without crashing the thing, and then guide it back out. It is impractical, and only useable in highly limited circumstances |
