Im Trying to get the rear irons sights off my m733 and i cant figure out how to do it. i figured i could just hold the nob and turn the screw but that didnt work. if anyone know please help me out.

Check the knob and see if there is a little set screw in the side--if so, you remove that and then pull the knob off. From there it's easy.

I have to ask, why do you need to do this?

i had to do some work on the body and now i have to paint it. so thus i want the sights off so i dont mess up the threads on the screws.

Just get masking tape and cover it, it'll work fine.
