My friend is looking for a G18 AEp and Francis over at hobbyasia.com told him the G18 is out of production and he does not want the m93r
~edit - VAGUE TOPIC TITLES: Topic titles need to give enough details so anyone can look at it and know EXACTLY what the subject is going to be about, or what the SPECIFIC question will be, WITHOUT having to waste potential time to go into the thread to figure this out. In other words there should be no guesswork. Titles like; "I have a question", "Which gun?", "Need help", "Super 9", "Which is better" (and the list goes on) are not acceptable. Typically the whole thread will be deleted if there is a Vague Topic Title. -rantng |

| The G18C AEP is definitely not out of production, in the catalog I got with my M93R AEP the G18C practically has a whole page to itself. Marui wouldn't put a discontinued gun in their most recent catalog. Pheonix is probably right, the storeowner most likely meant the gun was out of stock. |

| glock9, that's the EBB. or electric blowback. he's talking about the Tokyo Marui AEP, Airsoft Electric pistol, i believe, which is of much higher quality and price. |

i know he ended up getting it from depot53 but it was weird FRancis said thaey stopped making it because the m93r came out here ill show you the emails
I'm sure they will be making cool accessories for the M93R too, just they won't release this immediately. The M93R will surely stand out at games full of Glocks. I'm sure you know that every manufacturer has made at least 1 variation of the Glock so its alot more unique. The M93R has the foregrip for easier aiming, which gives it an edge in that department. Wow, really?? Darn.. I really wanted a G18C Because I think it looks a little better and it has the 100 round hi-cap mag option too. Is there anything intirely special about the M93R?
francis@hobbyasia.com wrote: Because the M93R just arrived Marui will not be making the G18C any time soon. If you want an AEP pistol, the M93R is probably the gun to go with. The details are excellent on this gun.

| What Marui tends to do is produce in dribbles. When a new model comes out, they tend to cease prouction of an older model temporarily while they produce a stock of the new. Then they continue production of the older model. Thats probably what he meant. It doesn't mean its discontinued, but out of production temporarily. |
