Some info on a new LPEG from the Filipino ACM forum. This should be hitting the states in a few months.

PRODUCT mini REVIEW from Alpha Charlie : 1. The scale is 1:1 the anpeq is the same with the BOYI M4 2. The scope is not a working model. 3. The gearbox is like the BOYI AEG just the same with the DE M83 only its reinforced. 4. The stock is like the BOYI M4. (????!!!) 5. The FPS is the same also with BOYI. The same barrel length. 6. The Bi-pod is a little bit brittle prone to breaking. 7. The taclite is a one led type. 8. Magazine is exactly the same with the BOYI M4. 9. No Hop-Up mechanism.

| Looks good but no really useful extras and no hop up. Guess we will have to wait for a review to get a good judgement. Excellent find tho I should check out acm forums more often. Also wish we could get some new rifles besides armalite varients. |

M16A3, not SR16
The fact that there isn't any hopup means that not many people will buy it. |

| jsg, the flip down front sight, funky flash hider and fixed stock make this as close as msot of us are ever going to get to an sr-16 without, you know, not being able to keep food on the table for a couple weeks. |

| Freedom Fighter=SR-16. You guys are probably thinking of the SR25. You guys all know that sights generally don't dictate what model the weapon is. |

M16A3s have longer, non-RIS barrels, and a removable carry handle. i guess it's sorta a mix between an SR16 and an M16A2 (since it got the short, RIS barrel but not a removable carry handle) |

Completely wrong.
The only thing that dictates the difference between the M16A3 and M16A4 is the fire select options. A3s have full automatic, A4s have burst. The M16A4s you see on TV or on the news probably have the M5 RAS installed. Difference between A3/A4s and A2s is the fact that A3s and A4s have a flat top upper receiver and detachable carrying handle. Foregrips don't matter. If you looka t the box in the picture, it shows the carrying handle removed and the "scope" installed.
The only thing that's confusing me is the weird SPR flashhider. |

| right you are, jsg, i was thinking of the 25.but in the end, it doesn't really matter what we call this thing, it's going to end up in the big black duffel bag i keep my airsoft in. |

| Does that scope attach to the carrying handle? That would look really cool just to bad theres no magnification. |

| No, scope attaches to flat top reciever. And with no hop, there's a reason NOT to buy it. |

| My cyma ak47 doesnt have a hopup and it shoots almost as far as my others with a fixed hopup. With that really long barrel this could be a very accurate lpeg but a lpeg sniper is a scary thing lol. |

It looks pretty brittle to me. From the looks of it, pretty cheaply made, too.
I will be buying the BE AUG, and then I'm going to buy a another real AEG, so, I'm good.
BTW:

| All right, I thought we were done with this, but even though CYMA LPEGs suck, they still do have hop-up. |

I agree, The CYMA AK does have the hop up bumps but the hop up is fixed due to the adjuster having a plastic lip from moving back and forth on the hop-up chamber |

| Yeah. It has the flip up sight and SPR flashhider. Now it just needs a short mag and flat top with a scope. |

| Well, that shouldn't be hard. Chop the mag, and get a flat top scope mount. |
