| Do you feel the bb when you get shot and do you see the bb when it is flying through the air? |

| You can see the bb and the only time you can't feel the bb is when you are wearing thick clothes if it's cold, if it hits part of a vest, or if you are running and just don't notice it. Also, you can hear the bb hit you usually if you aren't making any noise. The farther away the shot comes from, the less the bb hurts. |

oh please, it isn't that bad. i've been shot plenty of times in CQB, especially around the head-area. sure, for the first 5 or 10 seconds, it's painful, but then it goes away.
but yea, you really feel it if you get hit in one of your finger joints. that's where it hurts, aside from your eyes and stuff.
usually, you can see it float for about half a second before you feel the sting, unless you're using mini's. at maybe 40 ft, it's pretty easy to dodge a mini's shot or equivilant. |

| If you can see the bb or not depends on the color. The Inertia bb's are black and nearly invisible. |

You're better off yelling HIT as well - because people like me might keep shooting until they're sure that you're out. |

Richard, doesn't it depend on the background? For example, in snowy conditions your conclusion about black bbs may not hold true...
Usually you can see the bbs flying through the air, but you have to look for them, and follow them carefully. Otherwise you might not notice them, unless they are moving very slow. If that makes any sense anyway...
Airsoft bbs don't hurt too bad unless you are shot in a sensitive area at close range. At close range, they feel like bee stings, but on average, you will be far enough away that it doesn't really hurt at all. But yes, you should usually be able to feel the bbs hitting you. You might not feel one hit your glasses, for example, but the loud "tap" that the bb makes will tell you that you have been hit. |

| hehe...i was just wondering cuz if i play with a bigger AEG in the woods i wanted it to hurt...not to bad but a good sting...me and my friend play in his basement with springers which were about 10 - 15 ft away. he shot me in the tooth once and it hurt like a mother also in the ass from point blank when i wasn't even looking which also didn't feel to good. |

You can see bb's flying though the air while firing a aeg on full auto ( it's a straight line ) if your firing black bbs its almost impossible to see.
and about the question "Do you feel the bb when you get shot" yes you do, Does it hurt ? you feel a sting but it doesn't last long the red mark that comes from being hit on the skin does though. |

If the gun is weak or the person shooting it is far away then you can see the bb(unless it is an inertia bb) . if you get shot from close up it will sting for a few seconds, but it isnt bad and it goes away fast! |

| Whether you feel the BB or not depends on a lot of factors. Where you get hit, bare skin or clothing, how much clothing, tac vest, power of the gun (FPS/joules), close or far distance, your own pain tolerance, etc. |

| If you shoot yourself at point blank, 300 fps hurts like a mother trucker. But 400 fps at 80 feet feels like a small pinch if you get shot on just bdus and an undershirt. A buddy and I once lit up a guy from 30 feet away (we both pulled the trigger for a good 3 seconds, and we were shooting 300 and 350 and made sure he was hit, he definitely wasnt happy about that) and the guy just sighed and walked to the spawn area. That guy has high pain tolerance. |

| I definitely feel BB hits. It feels kind of like a rubberband snapping on you..but maybe nite quite so bad. Everytime I get a new gun I can't help but shoot myself with it...I just gotta know. Sometimes I see the BBs and sometimes I don't. |

| Hahahaa i shoot myself in the leg with all my new guns...i really dont know why. Its just fun, and most of the time you wont see the bbs coming at you...you will feel them hit you before you see them. It just happens so fast. |

I'm always far enough away with mine, I see incoming white BBs, but it's the old fashioned slow-mo thing, where you can almost will yourself out of the way, but you just can't move fast enough.
Or, i just start feeling like I'm in a horizontal hailstorm, and start calling myslef out to make them stop.
They hurt, but not as much as painballs, and they don't do as much damage as BB guns. Shooting myself point blank with a Tanaka M700 still hurts less than 30ft off with a stock paintball gun. |

Exactly. You can't just say "yeah it hurts", or "no it doesn't".
Ha, I for one just took a painful shot yesterday in CQC, or should I say, I painful game. We were playing where you had respawn. So my first hit, was someone was walking up the stairs, I saw him and he shot me. Great, I was out of gas (Fa-mas parts didn't arrive in time, primary was the KWC co2 Desert Eagle running on propane). He shot me in the stomach twice, and once in the hand. Which wasn't that bad, it was only a gas pistol. I was in a room with another one of my guys. I was yelling "hit", and I walked into view of the window. I took at least 15 bbs to the back of the head and back from 30 feet away from a 400 fps gun. Ow. Forgot that guy was behind the trailer...
I told sniped141 to escort me downstairs, I could always sneak around and get my gas once I was outside. So he walks down the stairs, out of sight. 30 seconds later, he yells, "clear!" I walk down the stairs, and the second I walk into view of the hallway, I get lit up. Three shots in the pinky, and two more in the stomoach. Right on the joint. I had two welts about 1 cm high, and in the middle was raised slightly, with a nice big blood bruise in the middle. There was that 400 fps gun again, now from about 10 ft away.
Well this morning the blood bruise popped, and the welts faded. Now it's just bruised and swollen. Well I'm wearing gloves from now on, in CQC at least.
But that was a pretty extreme example. That was CQC-esque combat (house surrounded by fortified fields, and trees in the back), with no fps limits. Not the smartest thing in the world. In woodland, most of the shots just bounce off my jacket. Occasionally leaving welts.
By the way I have a scar from a spring pistol. That shot hurt more than most AEGs, I guess it was just because it was bare skin, on my upper arm, from 10 feet away. |

| Bender, a tad close for a headshot from a KJW M700 don't you think?. How bad did that one hurt? My KJW pushes a .36 BB 540 FPS on propane and we play a 75-100 ft MED. |

Exactly people. A simple yes & no doesn't really mean anything. |
