I have been "playing guns" for years, and i just wanted a type of gun that would be capable of actually shooting someone to make them know they had been shot...
So we tried laser tag, and the lasers didnt shoot far enough, and you had to aim at the laser sensors.
Then we thought about paintball, but with that, you have paint everywhere.
So a little over a week ago, i picked up a clear gun from Hibbett Sports and it worked great. Ever since then, i have purchased enough guns to make these totals (keep in mind i was buying to be able to loan to others as well.)
8 Pistols (k99's, P99's etc) 2 Shotguns (UTG 870) 4 other generic springer rifles
plus some tactical gear like holsters and vests...
who couldve known that i would get so addicted!!

ya thats what i did then i found out that the guns i was buying were bad and would brake very fast. so i am trying to get more ex*****ve guns so that they will last. but for a newbie the guns that you sayed you got are a good choice for beginners.

i bet one of them is a CYMA M16.
anyways, yea. with laser tag, it was alright, as long as the vest wasn't blocked, which it always was. paintball, my friends didn't like the idea of returning home with hot-pink camo, then purple bruises everywhere. with that, airsoft was the perfect medium
woah, wait a minute, 11 days ago? so you mean that you bought 14 guns within 11 days? |

| Man, this reminds me of the good old days back when everyone had springers and had a good time. By the way, how do you like the utg shot guns? |

ok ya 2 of the generic ones are CYMA m16s from ebay and the others are some off ebay too.
The UTG is a god tho... i love that baby so much! i put a bluelight, a laser and a 4x scope on it and it just plain rocks!
I would go for expensive ones, but right now i just dont have that kind of money, lol.
In november, though, I am going into the Air Force, so i will be getting more money and more money = better guns.
Does anyone know if there is a rule in the Military saying you cant have/use these guns? |

Welcome to Airsoft! Glad to see someone else become addicted to it...
Definitely organize some springer battles, backyard spring wars are really fun if you get a good group of guys together.
If you do decide to invest in more expensive guns, be ready for an intense experience. Seriously, AEG games are on like a whole different level than springer games. Springer games don't even come close to what it feels like to have automatic gun fire pounding into the barricade you're taking cover behind.
Either way, I hope you have fun with Airsoft, and welcome to ASR! |

That is awesome you like airsoft so much! you should definently save up for an aeg or atlest a good gas! It is way different playing with those than playing with springers. I have no clue about any rule in the military saying your not allowed to have guns, but then again I am not in the military.
HAVE FUN WITH AIRSOFT!!!! |
