Hey all.

My cousin just got his first airsoft pistol, and has been shooting little red pellets all over the lawn ever since. My uncle, a business man of some sort, came up with the idea of creating a BB with a biodegradable outer layer, and a middle full of -

Lawn fertilizer!...

or some other non-toxic substance that would be benificial to lawns and gardens.

I'm just looking for feedback, so tell me what you think.

My uncle thinks his business or one of their partners may be able to produce a limited run of these BBs if there comes a calling.

Cheers
Scotty

I'm really fine with the bb's now. I mean i have some excels, that are apparently "semi-bio" and they are gone after a winter. Even my .2g straights are no where to be found. They must have sunk into the ground when it froze or something. So i'm happy lol.

That sounds like a good idea, but in the end may be a waste of time. They would be expensive to buy, and the performance would probably suffer.

yea, someone already did post a topic a lot like this one. i don't think it went too well.

anyways, you could always just pick up the used BBs, give them a nice wash, and sell a huge bag of them for 2$ or something, stating that they're used, of course.

Think what would happen if one of those broke in your gun.

Aside from the potential problems of fertilzer ending up in your home from degrading BBs & other hazards, the number of players probably playing on a lawn area that might actually benfit from this is minimal. In other words, for the most part, the majority of players would still be buying the traditionally constructed airsoft BBs. Locked.
